False Accusations of Child Abuse After Vaccine Induced Injuries Destroys Families By Christina England | August 20th, 2012

As I have explained on previous occasions there are a growing number of parents who have been falsely accused of child abuse. Many of these cases only occur after parents mention that their child first became ill after they received a routine vaccination.

Over the years as a journalist exposing these issues, I have been asked to help dozens of families worldwide who have lost their children or are losing their children as a result of false accusations. I spend many hours sifting through paperwork and engaging with a small number of brave professionals who are willing to give up their time and experience to help in these difficult and complex cases.

At various conferences throughout the year as part of my presentation I show a film describing an assortment of cases that I have been involved in or am currently involved in. With the families full permission I show photographs of their children and give a brief outline of their case to highlight the issues and to demonstrate the reality of what can happen to innocent families when they are falsely accused of child abuse after a vaccine injury has occurred.

At the beginning of August I spoke at the ‘Evidence Based Medicine and Social Investigation,’ yearly conference in Canada. This conference was set up with the soul intention of offering parents and professionals an arena in which they can discuss false accusations of child abuse in huge detail. The conference offers parents the unique opportunity to meet an array of professionals from many different professions, to hear what they have to say and to discuss their cases. http://evidencebasedmedicineandsocialinvestigation.wordpress.com/home/

The audio recordings for this years conference are available now on USB drives for the entire conference for $20 and the DVD’s can be ordered for $100.

This is an issue that needs to be taken much more seriously than it has been. Why is the CDC not looking at it closer? That answer is obvious; the needed denial of all.

Elevated blood histamine caused by vaccinations and Vitamin C deficiency may mimic the shaken baby syndrome.

The findings of subdural hematoma and retinal hemorrhages in infants, without any documented history of major trauma, do not always indicate child abuse. A combination of ascorbate depletion and the injection of foreign proteins can cause a very high blood histamine level, leading to capillary fragility and venular bleeding. This can be prevented by the administration of vitamin C.

Vaccinations & Ascorbic Acid – Shorts – Brief Article
Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients,  Feb-March, 2002  by Jule Klotter

In his article “Vaccinations, Inoculations and Ascorbic Acid,” C. Alan B. Clemetson, MD suggests that some of the severe reactions in infants after vaccination may be due to elevated histamine levels. Elevated histamine levels in tissue cause conditions such as hay fever, allergic rhinitis, and nettle-rash. Elevated blood histamine levels, however, cause convulsions, coma, and death. Experiments with guinea pigs have shown that the injection of vaccines or toxoids raise blood histamine levels.

Dr. Clemetson says that vitamin C supplementation reduces blood histamine levels by converting histamine to hydrantoin-5-acetic acid and then to aspartic acid. Supplementation also reduces mortality rates in animals and people who have received inoculations. Conversely, studies have shown that a deficiency of vitamin C made guinea pigs (who, like humans, do not manufacture vitamin C in their bodies) more sensitive to the negative effects of histamine. J.L. Parrot and G. Richet found that significantly less histamine killed half of the guinea pigs in their experiments after 15 days on a vitamin C-deficient diet. Instead of 8 mg/kg, only 2.5 mg/kg was needed.

In his article, Dr. Clemetson reports the clinical experience of Australian doctor A. Kalokerinos. Dr. Kalokerinos was deeply disturbed by the number of deaths among the Aboriginal and Caucasian children that he vaccinated for diphtheria, whooping cough, and tetanus (DPT). He had been vaccinating them when they were brought to the clinic because of illness (such as upper respiratory infection) because he thought he might not see them again. Infection of any kind is known to cause “a sharp drop in the blood leukocyte ascorbic acid concentration,” and the vitamin C levels in these children were low even before they became ill. By giving the children vitamin C, Dr. Kalokerinos was able to give them the DPT vaccine without causing more deaths.

Dr. Clemetson says that he “does not dispute the need for these inoculations….” He does, however, recommend that children with coryza and children and adults receiving multiple inoculations at the same time be given 500 mg of vitamin C in orange juice beforehand to prevent severe reactions. If possible, inoculation of debilitated infants should be postponed. In the event that convulsions occur within a day or two after vaccination, he says that vitamin C should be given by injection.

Caffey Revisited:
A Commentary on the Origin of “Shaken Baby Syndrome”

Caffey is often cited as the source of the diagnosis of “shaken baby syndrome” (SBS). Once the “classic” findings attributed to SBS are identified, it is rare for a differential diagnosis to be considered.Caffey focused on radiologic findings, but while he was aware of the possible diagnosis of scurvy, the radiologic signs of infantile
scurvy may not have had sufficient time to develop. Other findings in his cases were compatible with scurvy due to toxic histaminemia, which can cause capillary fragility, retinal petechiae, and subdural hematoma. Although dietary vitamin C deficiency is very rare today in our country, both vitamin C deficiency and toxic histaminemia can accompany systemic infection.

Additional Findings in Caffey’s Case Studies

Onset of Infantile Scurvy

In addition to the long-bone fractures and subdural hematomas, other clinical signs consistent with infantile scurvy were evident in most of Caffey’s six cases:

The so-called “classic” findings of subdural hematoma and retinal hemorrhages in infants, without any evidence of major
trauma, do not always automatically equate to a diagnosis of SBS. As in all other areas of medicine, it is prudent to do a differential diagnosis.

The findings in the cases that initially established SBS as a diagnosis were compatible with and even suggestive of infantile scurvy or toxic histaminemia.

Regarding the brain bleeding and retinal hemorrhages, Dr. Yazbak explained that it is impossible for a trauma, such as shaking, to cause these types of injuries without damaging the neck or the spine. As soon as he mentioned this important fact of biomechanics, Prosecutor Lerner began raising objections. Judge Lawson overruled Lerner’s objections and Dr. Yazbak stated, “I believe in my heart this baby was not harmed by his father.

False Allegations of Child Abuse

Shaken Baby Syndrome Falsely Accused Awareness

Those who have been wrongly accused should not continue to serve harsh penalities for something they did not do. Unless the innocent are protected from wrongful accusation and conviction, there is no justice. Few defendants can afford the legal costs or the costs for expert testimony, without which convictions are virtually assured.

Please sign this petition to support change in the way suspected SBS cases are handled, in order to ensure every child gets the proper medical care to avoid a life threatening outcome or injury and to stop wrongly imprisoning those whose only crime was that they happened to be \”the last person with the child.\”

Shaken baby syndrome: a search for truth
For two decades, people like Pamela Jacobazzi have been going to prison for killing infants like Matthew Czapski. But new findings say many of them shouldn’t be there.

Pamela Jacobazzi once ran a day care program out of her home in suburban Bartlett. Today she is in the sixth year of a 32-year prison sentence, convicted of murdering a child in her care by shaking him to death-a form of homicide that has come to be known as shaken baby syndrome.

She shares the fate of thousands of Americans who have been sent to prison over the past two decades on shaken baby charges. While some are clearly guilty of child abuse, many may be serving time for a crime they did not commit, say a growing number of physicians, pathologists and brain-injury specialists.

For decades, the theory of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) has been an accepted scientific reality – one many Americans first became aware of in the late 1990s during the highly publicized trial of British au pair Louise Woodward. SBS is the diagnosed etiology for perhaps thousands of injuries or deaths each year in the United States, and it remains the basis for hundreds of criminal convictions annually.

Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins: Curing the Incurable by Thomas E. Levy, M.D., J.D.

Can Vitamin C Cure Deadly Infections and Neutralize Potent Toxins?

Colorado Springs, Colorado—November 14, 2002—When dosed high enough, vitamin C alone can cure life-threatening infections and neutralize many otherwise fatal toxin exposures, according to author Thomas E. Levy, M.D., J.D. in his new book, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins: Curing the Incurable. In citing over 1,200 articles from scientific and medical journals around the world, Dr. Levy shows that many viral diseases such as polio, hepatitis, and encephalitis have been consistently cured by high doses of vitamin C given intravenously. While maintaining that lower doses of vitamin C taken by mouth may have little or no effect on many infections, Dr. Levy adds that high enough doses administered directly into the blood can demonstrate clinical effects that border on the unbelievable. He notes that large enough oral doses of vitamin C can prevent many infections, but intravenous dosing is often needed to cure infections already contracted.
